Skunk

This guy somehow got into our yard. Sadly, it's likely he'd been poisoned as he was roaming aimlessly and died within a couple of days. Note that skunks are diggers and will get into your yard by going under a fence. We've managed to harden things up, removing gaps below fences, and they are no longer seen in our yard.
