No, this is not a litter box

We have had some problems with cats using the beds as a litter box. Fortunately, they're usually careful in not actually upsetting the plants when they dig.

These spike things do an okay job of keeping them out. However, as you can see there are still plenty of spots the cats could get to. This hasn't been a big problem over the last coupe of years so I haven't even used these of late.
